Here are the 20 most important things I have learned from building a Life Coaching Business…
- To build a life coaching business the best thing you can do is coach people!!
- Niches don’t work, coach a lot of people, and the niche will find you
- If you want to know how to build a life coaching business, ask a life coach that has already done it
- A title means nothing, what is important is the work being done… eg. a business coach that is going to teach you marketing stuff is a marketer
- A life coaching business is built through service
- If you want to create paying clients get coaching from a life coach that has already done it
- There are two types of life coaches, those trying to look like an expert (usually they spend all their time posting content on social media) and those being or becoming an expert (usually these coaches are serving and coaching people)
- If you are not in conversations with people you are not building your business
- There are no shortcuts to building a life coaching business, there is no scaling from $0 to $20 000 in 60 days. The work needs to be done!! You have to BE a $20 000 life coach first
- The real work in a life coaching business is YOU working on YOU
- The deeper you go in your own coaching the deeper you can take your clients
- Clients are everywhere and you can connect anywhere
- Connecting and inviting. That literally is the business. If you’re not doing that, you don’t have a business
- If you want your life coaching business to level up, you need to level up. Find a coach that can coach you deeply.
- You don’t need another book, you don’t need another life coaching course, you don’t need more information to get started
- Connect with people without attachment to the outcome
- All successful life coaches have their own life coaches and they build their business through service
- As a life coach, you don’t need tricks or tactics to build your business. You don’t need secret strategies or blueprints, that’s marketing talk. Have conversations with people and see how you can help them
- It’s never a waste of time to connect with another human being. You cannot pre-qualify a potential client
- Slow down!! Do this for yourself and your clients
