First of the Must-Read Books is a book by Robin Sharma. This is one of his first books and it’s filled with many life lessons. It speaks of courage, balance, abundance, and joy.
This is a self-help book, and it gets you thinking of life very differently.
I follow Robin Sharma and enjoy his way of sharing life lessons. His books and content are very simple and very easy to apply. Robin Sharma is an expert at dealing with the stress in life. He has worked with many top-performing athletes, business people, and companies.
Psycho-Cybernetics: Updated and Expanded
Psycho-Cybernetics is a term coined by Dr. Maxwell Maltz, which means, “steering your mind to a productive, useful goal so you can reach the greatest port in the world, peace of mind.”
This book is mostly about self-image and the importance of this. It determines the results you get in almost every area of your life. The first publication of this book was in 1960. Before we can achieve something, we need to develop our perception of the outcomes we expect to reach. It highlights the importance of self-development because hard work alone cannot change your situation.
Unlimited Power : The New Science Of Personal Achievement
Tony Robbins needs to introduction and unlimited power was published in the nineties. If you want to achieve the things you want in life you need to master your personal and professional life. Tony has worked with heads of state, royalty, professional athletes and movie stars.
A few things you will learn:
- What you really want in life?
- How to reprogram your mind.
- How to deal with fears and phobias
- The keys to wealth and happiness.
This book will assist you in working on your mind. Tony has a way of explaining things in a very clear way. The content is also very inspirational. I have many of his books and programs, but I would suggest starting with unlimited power.
The Alchemist, 25th Anniversary: A Fable About Following Your Dream
The alchemist is written as a mystical story and as you go it teaches you life lessons. It is filled with the most amazing life lessons I must say. The book has become a classic and sold millions of copies.
The book shares the story of Santiago who is a shepherd boy. Santiago who wants to travel and wants to explore life learn lessons on the way. Santiago’s journey is filled with surprises just like life is in general. It shows the importance of following your dreams.
The 5 Second Rule: Transform your Life, Work, and Confidence with Everyday Courage
5 Second rule was one of those books that once I started reading, I could not stop. I would recommend reading this book if you struggle with procrastination.
Mel explains that when we grow up, we have people pushing us to get things done. What if we could push ourselves?
Mel goes on to explain a technique that takes 5 seconds to implement and it’s super straightforward.
Mel Robbins did a TEDx talk that went viral with more than 26 million views.
With the techniques that Mel shares you can in five seconds be happier. I have used this technique to essentially change my state very quickly.
