There are foods that can give you insane mindset growth. Food is very important for your mindset. Some of these foods are shared by Jim Kwik who is a renowned brain coach. Jim has a brilliant program on Mindvalley called Superbrain.

Avocado 

Avocados are high in potassium, omega-3s, and oleic acid. Avocados have also shown to assist in the prevention of Alzheimer’s. When eating avocados, it has also shown that lowers blood pressure which promotes good brain health. Avocados are filled with vitamin c, d, e, magnesium, and zinc. For someone that has epilepsy and neurological disorders, it will often be added to their eating plan. 

Other benefits are lower cholesterol and reduced blood triglycerides. 

Blue Berries 

There are many benefits of blue berries besides the brain. When it comes to antioxidant foods, blueberries are one of the best. It can protect your body against free radicals. The benefits for the brain or brain function include improved memory and benefits aging neurons. Blueberries are also great for lowering the risk of dementia.  

Other benefits of blueberries are an increase in concentration and preventing memory loss in old age. Blueberries would be one of my favorites as it’s easy to just add into a smoothie. 

Broccoli 

So, where blueberries would be favorite, I must say the least favorite here would be broccoli. Broccoli is filled with vitamin C and high in antioxidants. Eating broccoli can improve cognitive functions after a traumatic brain injury. Some studies have shown that broccoli assists in rebuilding the brain.  

Other benefits of broccoli include reduced inflammation and an increase in memory.

Coconut Oil 

The brain is largely made up of fat. Coconut oil can be alternate fuel for the brain as it contains certain saturated fats. This for me is also one of the easier foods to add to your diet. I usually add some into my smoothie or I put it over vegetables etc. 

Other benefits of coconut oil include reduced heart disease and Alzheimer’s. 

Eggs 

There are several sources of nutrients in eggs that are helpful to the brain. These vitamins include D, E, B, folate, choline, iodine and iron. Choline specifically plays a critical role in the development of the brain. 

Other benefits of eggs include lowering the risk of Alzheimer’s.

Your gut produces a lot of your chemicals which influence your emotions and feelings. Research has found that there are over 5 million neurons in your gut. This is second to your brain.
